Terms of Use

The service

TaskViaMe turns a task you send through a messaging app into a piece of work you can follow: the person you send it to can accept it, work on it and hand it back, and you approve it when it is done. Depending on the sharing setting you choose, they can do this from a web page, without an account.

We keep improving TaskViaMe, so features may be added, changed or removed over time.

Your account

You sign in with a Google or Apple account. You are responsible for what happens under your account, and for keeping that Google or Apple account secure.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

You can end any signed-in session from Settings, and delete your account there at any time.

Your content

The tasks, messages, voice notes and files you put into TaskViaMe remain yours. You give us permission to store them, process them and show them to the people on the task, only so that the service works. We do not use them for anything else.

You are responsible for having the right to share what you upload, and for the details of the people you save or send work to — that you may contact them, and that sending them a task is welcome.

Acceptable use

Do not use TaskViaMe to send anything unlawful, harmful, deceptive or harassing; to send unsolicited messages in bulk; to impersonate anyone; or to share files that contain malware or that you have no right to share.

Do not try to reach tasks, accounts or data that are not yours, to get around the limits of your plan, or to disrupt or overload the service.

To protect people from work they did not ask for, there is a daily limit on how much work an account can send straight into the app of people it has not worked with before.

Plans and limits

TaskViaMe has a free plan and paid plans. Every plan includes every feature; plans differ in how many tasks you can create each month and how much file storage you have. Current plans and prices are shown on our website.

Your monthly allowance renews on the same day each month as the day you registered, not on the first of the month.

If prices change, the change does not affect a period you have already paid for. The people you send tasks to never need a plan or an account.

Files

Files and voice notes are kept while a task is open and for 15 days after it is finished or cancelled, and are then deleted. TaskViaMe is not a long-term archive: keep your own copy of anything you need to keep.

Availability

We work to keep TaskViaMe available and reliable, but we cannot promise that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors. It is provided as it is and as it is available.

TaskViaMe is not affiliated with WhatsApp, Meta or any other messaging service. Messages are sent by you, from your own device, and those services have their own terms.

Liability

As far as the law allows, TXEVA is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profit, lost business or lost data, arising from your use of TaskViaMe. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for TaskViaMe in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.

Ending your use

You can stop using TaskViaMe at any time and delete your account from Settings. When you do, tasks you sent stay with the people you sent them to, with your name removed, and the files on the tasks in your workspace are deleted.

We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, or where the law requires it.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, we will update this page and change the date at the top. If you keep using TaskViaMe after a change takes effect, the updated terms apply.
